About the role:

A new NetworkPlus, led by Imperial College London, is currently being established: ZeDTech - Zero burden, sustainable technologies to support independent living with dementia. We are looking for an experienced Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) & Communications Officer to manage communications across the network and deliver PPIE activities and events around technology and dementia.

What you would be doing:

You will promote good practice involving patients, carers and public members. You will act as a bridge between the networks and the network members, and develop and implement the communications strategy and network events. You will work collaboratively across multiple types of stakeholders and engage and communicate with people from a range of backgrounds. You will be co-located in the UK DRI Care Research & Technology Centre and the Helix Centre.

This is a busy, varied collaborative post with wide-ranging responsibility. We are seeking a highly organised, compassionate, and engaging PPIE & Communications Officer with strong communications skills. With an agile approach to work, the post holder will grasp new opportunities to use their expertise to strengthen the network and portfolio of activities as they arise.

Further Information

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week).

This role is for a fixed-term contract from September 2025 until 31st May 2028.
