The opportunity
This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced administrator to join University of the Arts London's Creative Computing Institute (CCI), a dynamic and rapidly growing part of the university.
In this role, your day-to-day duties will be split between programme administration (0.6 FTE) and supporting digital delivery (0.4 FTE), making this an ideal position for someone looking to develop a diverse and highly valuable administrative skillset.
A key aspect of this role will be the delivery of proactive, customer-focused, and comprehensive support throughout the student journey for a portfolio of courses offered by CCI. You will play a key role in supporting both students and staff by providing accurate information, guidance, and effective management of student records.
You will contribute to core academic administration processes, including enrolment, Moodle updates, and attendance monitoring, working in collaboration with both local and central teams where appropriate.
Another key focus of your role is to support the digital delivery of the Institute’s curriculum across blended and in-person learning environments. This includes assisting academic staff with the setup and use of UAL and CCI digital learning platforms, ensuring students have access to relevant online content and digital tools.
As part of a digitally innovative Institute, you will provide practical and administrative support across teaching, research and knowledge exchange activities, contributing to the advancement of the CCI’s Social Mission.
About you
You will be a confident and well-organised individual with meticulous attention to detail and strong communication skills. You will be able to prioritise tasks, meet tight deadlines, and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
A background in an administrative role, with a commitment to enhancing the student or client experience, is advantageous. You will also be an excellent problem-solver, who is capable of developing administrative processes and working collaboratively in a team setting.
