Qmotion is the Students’ Union run Sport & Fitness Centre, located on the Mile End campus and provides students, staff and the wider community with diverse and inclusive fitness facilities and services to enable an active lifestyle.
The Students’ Union supports over 28,000 students who make up the diverse and vibrant student body at Queen Mary University of London.
We are seeking a part-time receptionist to work at our busy Sport and Fitness Centre based on the Mile End campus of Queen Mary University Of London, who is capable of exceeding member expectations on a daily basis, whilst ensuring the reception area and the activities within it are promoted and run to a high standard. You must have a high level of professionalism and be innovative and passionate in looking to deliver the highest levels of customer service.
Duties will include assisting with the day-to-day running of the reception under the supervision and guidance of the Front of House Team Leader, responding to daily requests and enquiries from members and colleagues, promoting a positive image of the facility, demonstrating confident communication and providing people with the correct information at all times. You should have experience working within a similar customer-based environment and have a willingness to continue to learn and develop. You will be required to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
This is a part-time (20 hours per week), permanent position. The starting salary will be £27,340 per annum pro-rata, inclusive of the London Allowance.
